PEORIA, Ill. – Scattered severe storms are possible in Central Illinois Thursday afternoon.
25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins says we could start seeing a few storms after 3 p.m.
“The storms will be scattered and most of us may not see activity. The tornado threat is low, but there could be a couple of storms with localized damaging winds and large hail,” Collins says.
The storms will decrease in intensity after sunset, then become rain for the rest of the night, Collins adds.
